Dear readers, I spot something nice and cheap from The Face Shop ~ Great Singapore Sale (GSS) lately that I’m going to review with all of you here. I bought two Baby Face Mask Series from The Face Shop ~ Smoothing Peel off Mask and Thermo Firming Mask with total $12.90 under Buy 1 Free 1 promotion.
The Face Shop Baby Face Mask is a 50ml tube packaging mask that offers a variety of choices with colourful formation and special features. It is available in 5 versions:
Smoothing Peel Off Mask (Peel Off)
Peel off pack that smoothly removes sebum, waste materials and old dead skin cells to keep it smooth.
Ampule Sleep Mask (Wash Off)
It forms a skin-protecting moisturizing layer while sleeping to keep your skin moist and transparent the next day.
Thermo Firming Mask (Wash Off)
It is a heating pack that makes your skin firm while massaging it with a refreshing heat.

BABY FACE SMOOTHING PEEL OFF MASK
The Face Shop Baby Face Smoothing Peel off Mask comes in a pink tube packaging with a flip cap that helps to remove sebum, waste materials and old dead skin cells in order to keep our face smooth. It is a thick and milky, sticky texture with a nice fragrance which consists of natural extracts such as Peony tree root extract, red algae extract, grapefruit extract and etc. Peony tree root extract is a Chinese herb that consists of medicinal properties, while red algae extract help to whiten the skin and grapefruit extract which is rich in antioxidants able to brighten the skin.
Simply apply an appropriate amount of The Face Shop Baby Face Smoothing Peel Off Mask on your face after cleansing. Try to avoid your eyes and mouth area and leave it for at least 15 minutes or until the formula has dried up completely. Gently peel off the mask and follow with your daily routine skin care steps.
THOUGHT
When I read through the ingredients behind the tube, I realize that it does contain a lot of chemicals and it may not suitable for the allergy skin, discontinue use if rashes or irritation happens. However, The Face Shop Baby Face Smoothing Peel off Mask has made my skin instantly smooth and bright after applied. My pores became less visible and tighter now.
BABY FACE THERMO FIRMING MASK
The Face Shop Baby Face Thermo Firming Mask is a heating pack that provides a unique heat sensation to the skin. It comes in a turquoise tube packaging with a flip cap that contains marine collagen which helps to firm the skin with its heating function while massaging the face. The milky gel texture will produce heat when you rub it or apply to your skin.
It is easy to wash off. Simply apply an appropriate amount of The Face Shop Baby Face Thermo Firming Mask on your skin and gently massage the mask in a circular motion. Rinse it off with lukewarm water after 15minutes.
THOUGHT
As soon I applied the mask, there is a warm sensation on my face. Don’t be alarmed and gently massage your face in circular motion. The Face Shop Baby Face Thermo Firming Mask instantly makes my skin soft and smooth. There’s a slight tightening sensation as it helps to firm and lift up my skin. However, I was alarmed with the warm sensation as for me is like a burning sensation at first. For those who are not used to the warm sensation, The Face Shop Baby Face Thermo Firming Mask may not be the perfect choice for you.
